Age Relaxation
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years
- Government employees: Relaxation as per applicable government rules
- Government employees belonging to SC/ST categories may receive applicable relaxations under both provisions, as per the rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Manipur SSC Special Primary Teacher Recruitment 2026 must fulfil the following conditions:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must be able to speak Manipuri or any tribal dialect of Manipur.
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Manipur.
- Candidates whose parent or direct-line ancestor is a permanent resident of Manipur may also be eligible, subject to valid documentary proof.

Educational Qualification

- A valid TET-1 qualification conducted by the State Government or an agency approved by NCTE.
